After 17 yrs in the publishing business, Greg believed without a doubt he was called to be a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He attended Baptist Bible College & Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pa., graduating with a B.S. in Biblical Studies. And later Master of Biblical Studies degree from Bethany Bible College in Dothan, Ala. For the past 24 yrs. Greg served as Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Atlantic City faithfully sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He had also been a substitute teacher for Galloway Township Public Schools for last 11 yrs. His love of teaching and mentoring was evident thru the many lives he touched. They were "his kids". He coached baseball and basketball for the P.A.L. program and home school basketball teams over the years. Pastor Greg was always just a phone call away from anyone in need no matter what! He served on the Smithville Architectural Review Board. Was secretary for the Garden State Fellowship of the GARBC. Greg was an avid reader, enjoyed collecting stamps and John Wayne movies. He was a die-hard "Yankee" fan! He loved camping with his wife and friends. His dry, quirky sense of humor, infectious laughter, warm smile and "Swedish Chef" impersonations will all be sorely missed. Greg was a loving husband to his cherished wife, Barbara, of 42 yrs. A wonderful, caring dad to his son, Mark.
He was called home to the arms of His Precious Lord & Savior on October 13, 2016.

Keith Clifford

Deceased Date: 2019-01-27
Obituary:
- - January 27th, 2019
Denville - Keith Clifford passed peacefully at his home on January 27th after a brave bout with ALS. He shared 69 years of love and friendship with his family and community.

Keith was born in Morristown to the late Terrence and Lee. After graduating from Morris Knolls, he attended Montclair State and William Paterson. He settled in Denville where he was blessed with two daughters. In 1980 he joined the Denville Police Department where he proudly served this community. Keith loved being a cop. He taught DARE to over 1200 students and was proud of this important work. In 1998, he married Susan Tierney and was smitten. Keith was blessed again, as Susan had two little ones. The family blended and Keith and Susan worked hard to give the kids a comfortable home and life.

Keith donated much of his time to the Boy Scouts and was fortunate to spend time at the Philmont Scout Ranch and attend the National Jamboree one year. He was kind and good hearted and always saw the best in others. Although we are saddened by his passing, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace and watching over his family with love and pride.

He leaves beautiful memories to his wife Susan of over 20 years; his children Anne and Bethany Clifford and Ryan Tierney ( Jodie Kunkel) and Kaitlyn Tierney (Jamie Berlin); his siblings Diane Clifford (Jeff Howard) and Brian Clifford (Debra); his nieces and nephews Terry and Robyn Clifford Howard and Allie and Jenny Nostrand; his sister in law Joy Nostrand; and many more dear relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbors.
